Born in Bellavista Callao, Peru and raised in Belleville, Chef Roberto brings more than two decades of experience from some of New York and New Jersey’s most respected kitchens. A graduate of the French Culinary Institute, he is passionate about showcasing the vibrant flavors and cultural richness of Peru through elevated yet approachable cuisine.

Warique, inspired by the Peruvian term for a hidden culinary gem, has quickly become known for its warm hospitality, bold flavors, and unforgettable dining experience, bringing family, culture, and community together through every dish served.
